The mayor was as welcoming as ever, this is M Pennanech's last year as mayor.

19:00hrs Dinner to Celebrate 35 Years of Twinning

At Restaurant L'ovny
The dinner at l'Ovny was excellent. The restaurant looks like a wooden flying saucer and rotates 30 degrees. Choirs from both towns sang, there was a musician/singer and some of us tried to dance in a tiny space not really suitable for it.

the heavens opened. Some were able to squeeze into a shed, others got soaked. The gardens were much admired by those who have some horticultural knowledge.

12:00hrs The picnic was in a room and was up to the standard we have come to expect with wonderful selections of food and the right wines to go with each.

Rope making It's a Windup — It's a Windup

Fascinating with people demonstrating each of the crafts and opportunities for us visitors to have a go. There was cider making, clog making, rope making, spinning, weaving, embroidery, basket weaving, pottery and more.
